The adventurous activity permit scheme is an internal assessment scheme designed to ensure that all those leading adventurous activities for young people within Scouting have the skills, experience and personal suitability to do so.
Most outdoor pursuits are included in the scheme the main exceptions being Air Activities, Shooting and Swimming.

The County has a number Permit Assessors in post to help you gain a permit. They can help with both training and assessment in most cases. Currently we have County Assessors for: -
