The Foundation supports a broad range of organisations and activities that share a commitment to making a positive impact to the lives of the communities in which they work, and that are driven by a desire to achieve excellence. DM Thomas Foundation
DM Thomas Foundation for Young People was formerly known as the Hilton in the Community Foundation. It offers various grants and local funds. The Foundation provides funding for organisations which work to improve the lives of children and young people across Europe. The grants focus on providing equipment, training and support to young people, and are administered through several different models. These include the: Central grants - Registered charities in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland may apply for grants from DMTFYP’s Central grants fund. Deadlines for applications run on a quarterly basis and the fund distributes around £200, 000 per quarter. Local funds - DMTFYP operates donor-advised funds and there is no application process for these local funds. Business partners work with the Foundation to make these grants to local charities and schools that they have identified and nominated, using funds raised for the Foundation and held by the charity. Nominated causes must fall within their giving remits and relationships are maintained locally. Foundation Giveaways - Throughout the year DMTFYP holds regional giveaways in association with their supporters around the UK. This gives smaller charities a chance to apply for a grant and for them to reach a new audience. For more information go to dmthomasfoundation.org or call 020 7605 7733 or email info@dmtfyp.org
