National Conference - Summit17

The next National Conference will take place over the weekend 31 March/1-2 April 2017 at Warwick University. The conference will have the principal objective of engaging key attendees in the development of the movement’s strategy beyond 2018. The conference will be open to Regional Commissioners (England), County/Area/Regional Commissioners, District Commissioners and Youth Commissioners (at County/Area/Regional level).

24th November 2016. Summit17 is Scouting’s national conference, our most important national gathering in 2017. The date is getting closer and I’m pleased to provide some further information about the plans for this event.

We want to use Summit17 to plan Scouting’s future beyond 2018 together. It will be an opportunity to think about our priorities and identify any new areas where we can make a real difference. Most importantly, Summit17 will address three questions: how can we improve the lives and futures of young people, increase our impact and better support our volunteers?
